Rate and Payment Policy:

$240/hour, payable to Forensic Science Consultants.

This fee applies to all work done, including bench work, consultation, travel, trials, hearings, depositions, document review and interviews. Invoices of work done are always provided.

Payment is the responsibility of the agency or law firm, not the client.

Retainers:

Retainers are determined by an initial estimate of the total amount of time a case may require. The first two hours of a retainer fee are non-refundable in the event the matter is resolved after initial work has begun, including document review.

Government agencies may not be required to pay a retainer fee, but are required to send an official hire letter before work starts.

Travel and Expenses:

Air travel arrangements and/or rental cars are the fiscal responsibility of the hiring law firm or agency.
